Working With Me

Hi, I’m Dr. Erin, looking forward to being a trusted partner in your journey toward a happier life. My approach is rooted in collaboration; I am here to listen to you with compassion, understand your unique experiences, and guide you toward meaningful change. At the same time, I’m here to challenge you – to gently push you beyond your comfort zones where true growth happens.

My professional experience isn’t limited to therapy alone; I have done psychological consulting for the entertainment industry, executive coaching for Fortune 500 company leaders, and family dynamics consulting for multi-generational family offices.

I earned my BA from Pepperdine University and a Master’s from Phillips Graduate Institute, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a specialization in Co-Occurring Disorders. I then earned my Doctorate in Psychology from Argosy University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a focus on Humanistic and Psychoanalytic psychology. In addition to my practice, I provide media consultation to help inform the general public about psychological issues in daily life and the importance of quality mental health care.

Boards & Volunteer Service

I am deeply committed to giving back through my work with several impactful organizations. I volunteer free therapy through Give an Hour, a nonprofit dedicated to providing no-cost mental health services to veterans, service members, and their families. Their mission is to expand access to quality mental health care by connecting those in need with licensed professionals who volunteer their time.

In addition to my volunteer work, I serve on two advisory boards:

These organizations are dedicated to creating meaningful change in their respective fields, offering vital resources and support to the communities they serve.

Rescue 22 Foundation – This organization provides highly trained, task-specific service dogs to veterans living with service-connected disabilities. Their goal is to enhance independence, improve quality of life, and offer life-changing support to those facing mobility challenges, PTSD, and other conditions. Each dog is custom-trained to meet the specific needs of its handler, ensuring the highest level of care and assistance.

Pepperdine University’s Strong Rope Legacy Program – This initiative is designed to educate and empower the next generation of women in family enterprises. The program focuses on leadership development, governance, and succession planning, providing mentorship and education to help women navigate the complexities of family business dynamics and sustain long-term success.
